Nurses and HCAs are commitment to patients, their communities, and our health care systems. They have proven just how much we need them, and we cannot thank them enough for it.
All nurses are special and do wonderful things. At Clinical24, we believe that healthcare workers should be cherished. They are angels on earth, and we want to show you just how wonderful they are. To say thank you for being valuable assets to the Clinical24 family, we like to reward them with a £50 Amazon voucher. Each month we introduce a healthcare hero who has gone above and beyond and has received positive feedback from clients.
For the month of October, we celebrated Maria Sierra Rico – who has been reliable and is an all-round pleasure to work with. She has picked up very last-minute shifts for us and is a credit to the Clinical24 Wales team. We’ve also had nothing but good feedback from our clients and just adore working with her!
We caught up wit Maria on her nomination and this is what she had to say:
Just over a month now.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Although bureaucracy is always painful.
The team is small, and you get to know everyone quickly. They are all very nice and friendly - It's like working with a family.
Helping out those that are short of staff, as I have been there and I know the frustration when the safety of your patients is compromised due to staffing levels, and there's nothing you can do.
I usually keep calm and breathe, then think.
Do it, you won't regret it!
I would like to keep progressing and learning, both clinically and leadership wise.
